Oxygen therapy at home
Linde Healthcare offers equipment for home oxygen therapy such as: Oxygen concentrators,
HemLOX liquid oxygen, Oxygen cylinders, Specialised equipment for cluster headaches.
Our goal is to create a better quality of life for patients at home.
Homecare product overview
LIV® compressed oxygen cylinders have a built-in flow selector to facilitate dosing. The cylinders are delivered to your home,
replaced when needed and included in the high cost cover. The cylinders are available in different sizes for
home treatment; 1.1 L (weight approx. 2.5 kg) and 2 L (weight approx. 3.8 kg), which can be transported in a bag, trolley, on a walker
or a mobility scooter. There is also a larger 10 litre bottle that can be used as a stationary option.
An oxygen cylinder is placed in a ventilated and easily accessible room, where it can stand or lie flat. The cylinder is individually labelled, ensuring full traceability.

HemLOX® can be used at home as a stationary and/or portable oxygen source.
The HemLOX® system includes a large stationary vessel that Linde Healthcare supplies to the patient's home and replaces regularly with a re-filled vessel.
The vessel holds 20 or 30 litres of liquid oxygen, which is equivalent to 80 and 120 one-litre gas cylinders.
The stationary vessel is supplemented by small portable lightweight containers/thermoses filled from the home vessel. These can be carried on the shoulders or in a specially adapted rucksack and give
the patient very substantial freedom of movement. Linde Healthcare provides several different portable lightweight containers.
A container of liquid oxygen is stored indoors at room temperature in a well-ventilated area.
HemLOX® equipment is prescribed on prescription and Linde Healthcare is responsible for all service and maintenance. The equipment is
individually labelled, ensuring full traceability.

Oxysaver 8 is a gas saver that reduces oxygen consumption by providing the patient with gas only during inhalation. Oxysaver 8 extends the useful life of the oxygen equipment used.
The gas saver should be tested individually for the patient's needs at rest and during activity.
Oxysaver 8 doses oxygen in a fixed volume, but can also regulate the amount of oxygen depending on physical activity. By using Oxysaver 8, the gas can be made to last several times longer and the utilisation time for the user increases.
Oxysaver 8 can be connected to both oxygen cylinders and the Stroller portable thermos for liquid oxygen (for the Stroller, a special hose connection is needed,
which can be ordered by contacting Linde Healthcare's therapy specialists. See more information under the heading Information about Linde's start-up service).

The portable oxygen concentrators are powered by a battery or via a power supply. They have a sound volume of around 40 dB and have an
oxygen concentration of around 87-96% compared to 100% oxygen delivered in bottled or liquid oxygen therapy.
Accessories such as carrying bag, backpack, extra batteries, external battery chargers, etc. are available.
Linde Healthcare has two models of portable oxygen concentrators, Inogen One G4 and Inogen ROVE 6 in its range.
